Senior Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Liaise with company representatives and government authorities to implement traffic and transportation safety improvements
• Serve as technical lead for traffic safety engineering assignments and mentor junior staff
• Review and develop scopes of work for Road Safety Audits (RSA), Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), and Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) plans
• Provide technical support and engineering recommendations to improve traffic operations and mobility
• Review roadway designs and engineering specifications for compliance with industry standards
• Prepare technical reports, engineering studies, and project documentation
• Support team development through technical training programs and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering, or Traffic Safety Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering
• Mandatory professional certification: PE, PTOE, PTP, RoSPA, or RSP
• Expertise in Highway Design, Traffic Impact Assessments, and Traffic Operations
• Thorough knowledge of AASHTO, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, and ITE guidelines
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or a related discipline
