Senior Transportation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects
• Develop innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
• Improve traffic operations, safety, and pedestrian circulation for cities and communities
• Collaborate with team members to shape transportation infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, or ITS projects
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
• Working knowledge of Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM or similar software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with traffic studies and design projects
• Local industry knowledge and experience
