Senior Transportation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Coordinate national and international shipments, including communication with carriers, pickups, and deliveries.
• Track domestic and international cargo in collaboration with the US logistics team.
• Supervise GPS systems and delivery schedules to ensure timely compliance.
• Manage and control returns resulting from customer complaints or damages.
• Request and review transportation quotes for new routes and cost optimization.
• Prepare and maintain freight metrics and performance reports.
• Review carrier invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Collect and verify Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
• Manage and follow up on claims with transportation providers.
• Maintain and update truck records for inbound and outbound shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in transportation, data analysis, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, and Power Query).
• Solid SQL skills, including data extraction, joins, aggregations, and query optimization.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or other BI tools.
• Strong knowledge of logistics documentation, specifically BOL and POD.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
