Senior Transmission Lines Engineer, Power Delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of high voltage transmission line design projects (34.5kV–500kV), including new lines, upgrades, and structure replacements
• Prepare and review design deliverables such as plan and profile drawings, material selection, and construction specifications
• Conduct quality reviews of internal and subcontractor deliverables
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality requirements
• Act as Technical Project Management Lead and serve as the primary liaison between the client and the project team
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team
• Support business development activities and participate in proposal preparation

Requirements

• BSCE, BSME, or BSEE degree from an accredited university
• 10+ years of experience in transmission design, including route selection, structure design, and analysis
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-Lite
• Professional Engineering license (P.Eng.)
• Experience in a Project Engineering or Project Management capacity working with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation
• Proficiency with MFAD and Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of transmission line routing, field program planning, and EPC projects
• Experience with distribution or underbuild design
