Senior Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a company-wide training leader responsible for strategy, standardization, and alignment of training frameworks across multiple departments.
• Design, implement, and maintain department training programs, materials, and enterprise-level governance.
• Mentor and coach Training Specialists I and II, as well as hands-on trainers, to support professional development.
• Partner with leadership and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess training needs and ensure systems support business, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage large-scale training projects, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
• Lead training updates in response to process changes, audits, quality trends, and CAPAs.
• Audit training programs for compliance, effectiveness, and consistency.
• Facilitate new employee orientation (NEO) lab-focused training and internal certification programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of applicable experience, or an AA/AS degree with 5 years of applicable experience.
• Industry certification or equivalent education in training disciplines.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and facilitating training programs.
• Strong knowledge of ADDIE or similar instructional design models.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Gantt Charts, Trello, Agile, SCRUM, or KPIs).
• Excellent presentation, mentoring, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a professional office and laboratory environment, including wearing required PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Advanced understanding of strategic project management, optimization, and governance.
