Senior Trade Support Analyst

BestEx Research is a financial technology and research firm specializing in building sophisticated execution algorithms and transaction cost modeling tools servicing multiple asset classes. The firm provides its services to performance-demanding hedge funds, CTAs, asset managers, and banks through a traditional electronic broker and in a broker-neutral Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 telephone, chat and email support to clients
• Proactively monitor execution algorithms and mitigate trading risk
• Troubleshoot system and client connectivity issues
• Develop understanding of execution algorithms and BestEx Research applications and explain them to clients
• Help clients with customization of BestEx Research products
• Perform Transaction Cost Analysis
• Trade support and application-level troubleshooting of orders generated by execution algorithms
• Perform QA of internal trading tools, algorithms and risk applications
• Coordinate application deployment with infrastructure management and software engineering teams
• Work with brokers and vendors to integrate execution algorithms and troubleshoot orders in real time
• Assist in client-onboarding and account creation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science preferred)
• 7+ years of experience
• Professional market understanding of US Equities, Futures and FX
• Knowledge of SQL and Python
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with 3am - 11am IST (weekly rotational shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous financial industry or trading experience
• Knowledge of Networking
• Knowledge of FIX protocol
