Senior Trade Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage, prioritize, and perform complex fixed-income trading operations, including generating reports, billing trades, and processing requests.
• Monitor daily reporting submissions to external regulatory agencies such as MSRB and TRACE.
• Provide operational support for the setup and trading of new issue structured products.
• Execute fixed-income agency orders accurately and within industry and firm regulations.
• Analyze market volatility and market structures to optimize client execution prices.
• Triage rejected trades and assist in testing or analyzing technology updates and problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in trading operations or a related financial field.
• Active Series 7 license or the ability to obtain it within 120 days.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including OneNote.
• Experience using financial systems such as BETA, Tradeweb, SIMON, or Thomson ONE.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive workflows in a high-volume, regulated environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in obtaining a Series 57 license.
• Experience working with regulatory websites.
• Basic understanding of structured products and fixed-income securities.
• Familiarity with process procedure review and development.
