Senior Tracking Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop disruptive technologies focused on tracking and fusion programs
• Contribute to data analysis, algorithm development, and engineering software
• Perform validation, verification, and performance analysis for novel application domains
• Explore complex datasets and develop cutting-edge algorithmic techniques
• Participate in project teams and interact directly with customers

Requirements

• BS with 5+ years of experience, MS with 3+ years, or PhD in a scientific field (Applied Math, Physics, EE, CS, or Data Science)
• Experience with tracking technologies and estimation theory or statistics
• Proficiency in C++ programming
• Ability to perform experiment design, performance modeling, and simulation runs
• Proficiency in simulation capabilities, Monte Carlo methods, and data structures
• Ability to communicate technical foundations of models and algorithms
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active security clearance
• Experience in intelligence or military-related mission areas
• Experience with Git, Linux, Anaconda, or Docker
• Expertise in Python or MATLAB for scientific programming (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)
