Senior Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate part Design for Moldability and mold tooling design reviews
• Track project milestones and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Structure projects with clear objectives for suppliers
• Document requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation
• Coordinate between internal customers, external suppliers, and supply chain
• Provide weekly status reports on tooling, qualification, and tool repair
• Plan, coordinate, and attend on-site FAT activities at suppliers
• Evaluate testing results and direct functional or visual improvements
• Manage internal mold testing and qualification tasks
• Deliver comprehensive mold documentation to production and operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the injection molding industry
• Focus on mold development
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks)
• Experience performing and interpreting Mold flow analyses
• Familiarity with engineering grade resins
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MoldEx 3D
