Senior Tool Admin

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer requirements management tools including Polarion, 3DS, Jama, and R4J on existing infrastructure.
• Design and develop custom solutions for traceability, implementation, and test status reporting based on business requirements.
• Act as a technical advisor and coach for engineers regarding requirements management best practices and tool usage.
• Provide online training to engineering staff on tool configuration and usage.
• Drive end-to-end architecture to ensure optimal tool performance and scalable, secure environments.
• Integrate requirements management tools with the broader development toolchain to support DevOps practices and data flow.
• Serve as the technical interface for vendor communication and explore new technologies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the administration and configuration of ALM/PLM tools such as Polarion, 3DS, Jama, DOORS, CodeBeamer, or R4J.
• Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript for building tool extensions and custom functionalities.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive standards such as aSPICE, ISO 26262, or TISAX.
• Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Background in automotive industry, software quality assurance, or the development of safety-critical systems.
