About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex analyses of heat transfer, pipe network flow, thermodynamics, and aircraft icing
- Frame analysis results within the context of aircraft design and right-sizing
- Prepare comprehensive test plans
- Document analysis, ground test, and flight test results
- Write and update Engineering practice documents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 8 to 12 years of experience in thermodynamics and icing engineering
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Fortran, or Visual Basic
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
- Knowledge of Siemens Flomaster
- Experience with CFD analyses and Unix Operating Systems
