Senior Thermal Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute qualification, acceptance and development test-campaigns
• Post-process and evaluate test data and write reports
• Monitor test operations and activities
• Develop and maintain internal test standards, procedures and sequences
• Maintain, calibrate, and upgrade testing equipment and facilities
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards
• Assist in designing test rigs and laying out sensors

Requirements

• B.Sc / M.Sc in aerospace, mechanical engineering or similar
• Relevant experience in hardware qualification and acceptance for Aerospace
• Experience in thermal, thermal vacuum and climatic testing
• Hands-on experience with thermal vacuum chambers and thermometry
• Understanding of Aerospace test standards such as ECSS and RCC
• Ability to perform in high-stress environments
• High attention to detail and a safety mindset
