Senior Thermal Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform thermodynamic-based modeling and optimization of chiller system design, fluid filtration, and pumping
• Develop chiller system architecture solutions that meet or exceed product development requirements
• Confirm product design performance, capability, and reliability through testing in engineering laboratories using DOE methodologies
• Work cross-functionally with technology organizations to ensure new technologies transition smoothly into production
• Collaborate with product marketing teams to develop requirements and ensure products meet market needs
• Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards during development programs
• Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of HVAC systems/mechanical engineering experience, OR
• Master's degree and 3+ years of HVAC systems/mechanical engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Project leadership experience
• Experience in new product development, service, or aftermarket spaces
• Direct experience within the HVAC industry
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
