Senior Therapeutic Specialist, HIV Treatment

Responsibilities

• Represent Gilead's HIV treatment products to healthcare providers within the Albany/Westchester NY territory to drive sales and manage key accounts.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers through in-person meetings and strategic partnerships.
• Deliver clinical updates, disease awareness information, and education on healthcare changes to diverse audiences.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues, including medical scientists and field reimbursement managers, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Adhere to all corporate, PhRMA, and OIG compliance guidelines, including the timely reporting of adverse events.
• Manage administrative tasks such as reporting call activity, managing territory budgets, and submitting expenses.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 11 years of experience, OR
• Associates Degree with 9 years of experience, OR
• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience, OR
• Master's Degree with 5 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory (Watertown, Utica, Westchester, Hudson Valley).
• Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or BS degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
• Experience selling "Buy and Bill" or injectable physician-administered products.
• Familiarity with the managed care landscape and its impact on business.
• Experience managing a multi-product portfolio.
