Senior Therapeutic Specialist – HCV/PBC

Responsibilities

• Represent Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base to generate and grow sales.
• Conduct in-person meetings and face-to-face representation with healthcare practitioners within the Oakland/San Jose area.
• Establish strong working relationships with healthcare practices to provide disease awareness and clinical updates.
• Develop and implement territory business plans to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
• Partner with internal teams, including Medical Scientists and Marketing, to support territory objectives.
• Manage territory budget plans for customer contacts, educational grants, and speaker events.
• Ensure all promotional activities comply with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 11 years of experience, OR
• Associates degree with 9 years of experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, OR
• Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area.
• Ability to perform onsite visitations of healthcare practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or BS degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
• Experience with product launches in highly competitive environments.
• Superior selling skills and advanced relationship-building expertise.
