Senior Therapeutic Specialist – HCV/PBC

Responsibilities

• Represent Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base in the Portland area to drive sales and achieve targets.
• Establish strong working relationships with healthcare practitioners through in-person meetings and face-to-face representation.
• Provide timely delivery of disease awareness information and clinical updates regarding HCV and PBC therapeutic areas.
• Develop and implement territory business plans, including budget planning for customer contacts and educational grants.
• Partner with internal teams, such as Medical Scientists and Marketing, to identify and resolve territory-specific issues and opportunities.
• Ensure all promotional activities comply with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 11 years of experience, OR Associates degree with 9 years of experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, OR Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area.
• Ability to perform onsite visitations of healthcare practitioners, including compliance with facility-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or BS degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, particularly in specialty markets.
• Previous experience with product launches in highly competitive environments.
• Superior selling skills and advanced relationship-building expertise.
