Senior Therapeutic Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust territory business plans for the liver diseases portfolio across the UAE and Qatar
• Drive commercial success by promoting a multi-product portfolio and achieving sales targets and KPIs
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including hepatologists, gastroenterologists, and pharmacists
• Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support scientific exchange and market shaping
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams to ensure optimal patient access
• Maintain high-quality scientific and clinical knowledge to deliver value-based interactions with healthcare professionals
• Ensure all promotional activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Specialist in a specialty therapy area within a pharmaceutical company
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and KPIs in competitive markets
• Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable territory plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in liver diseases or hepatology (e.g., HCV, HBV, PBC)
• Prior experience covering UAE and/or Qatar territories with established customer networks
• Deep understanding of local healthcare systems, access pathways, and key institutions in the region
