About the role

Responsibilities

  • Represent Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base in the Denver, CO area.
  • Generate and grow sales by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets through strategic account management.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare providers through in-person meetings and face-to-face engagement.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to meet customer needs and sales goals.
  • Maintain deep expertise in Gilead's products, competitive landscapes, and relevant disease states.
  • Partner with cross-functional colleagues, such as medical scientists and field reimbursement managers, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Adhere to all corporate, PhRMA, and OIG compliance standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks including reporting call activity, managing territory budgets, and submitting expenses.

Requirements

  • High School Degree and 11 years of experience, OR
  • Associate's degree and 9 years of experience, OR
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience, OR
  • Masters' Degree and 5 years of experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area.
  • Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
  • Experience selling injectable, physician-administered, or "Buy and Bill" products.
  • Familiarity with the managed care landscape and its impact on business.
  • Experience working with account-focused cross-functional local teams.
