About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base in the Denver, CO area.
- Generate and grow sales by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets through strategic account management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare providers through in-person meetings and face-to-face engagement.
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to meet customer needs and sales goals.
- Maintain deep expertise in Gilead's products, competitive landscapes, and relevant disease states.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues, such as medical scientists and field reimbursement managers, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Adhere to all corporate, PhRMA, and OIG compliance standards and ethical guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks including reporting call activity, managing territory budgets, and submitting expenses.
Requirements
- High School Degree and 11 years of experience, OR
- Associate's degree and 9 years of experience, OR
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience, OR
- Masters' Degree and 5 years of experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area.
- Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BS degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
- Experience selling injectable, physician-administered, or "Buy and Bill" products.
- Familiarity with the managed care landscape and its impact on business.
- Experience working with account-focused cross-functional local teams.

- Competitive salary range ($133,195.00 - $172,370.00).
