About the role

Responsibilities

  • Promote approved indications of BMS products within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Create demand for medicines by articulating clinical and scientific rationale to healthcare providers
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with National Thought Leaders (NTLs) and regional thought leaders (RTLs)
  • Organize promotional programs, including lunch and learn sessions and speaker programs
  • Conduct office presentations and engage in deep scientific dialogue regarding product information
  • Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other field teams to ensure an optimal customer experience
  • Utilize AI-based targeting capabilities to define and execute effective call plans

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience (e.g., healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse)
  • Strong selling, promotional, and account management skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales performance goals
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific or clinical data convincingly to physicians
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to meet company driving requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the Rheumatology therapeutic area
