Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology

Responsibilities

• Promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet sales targets
• Create demand for BMS medicines by articulating clinical and scientific rationale
• Maintain high level of scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas
• Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans
• Conduct in-office presentations and discuss product-related scientific information with HCPs
• Organize external speaker programs and facilitate logistics
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure optimal Customer Experience (Cx)
• Gather and share relevant market insights internally

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience (sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse)
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology required
• Proven track record in account management and sales performance
• Ability to communicate complex clinical data accurately to physicians
• Strong selling and promotional skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving risk requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in using CRM tools and digital communication channels
