Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Specialty

Responsibilities

• Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medicines by engaging in deep scientific dialogue with Healthcare Providers (HCPs)
• Build and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians
• Promote approved indications of products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets
• Implement comprehensive territory and account plans to achieve business objectives
• Conduct in-office presentations and organize external speaker programs to communicate clinical rationale
• Collaborate cross-functionally with field teams to ensure a superior Customer Experience (Cx)
• Utilize digital tools and CRM software to manage data, track interactions, and generate insights

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
• Proven experience in healthcare sales, MSL, or nursing roles
• Strong ability to communicate complex scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales performance goals
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet "Qualified Driver" requirements
• Strong account management and analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically within the cardiovascular therapeutic area
• Experience building relationships within a customer influence network (office staff, medical groups, etc.)
