Senior Textile Quality Assurance Associate

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute global inspection and testing programs in partnership with factories and third-party partners
• Communicate testing and inspection results to internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze new materials, test results, and risks to provide recommendations for finished goods
• Manage return rate analysis and collaborate with product teams to mitigate future risk
• Troubleshoot and solve development and bulk quality issues regarding workmanship and color
• Create corrective and preventive action plans
• Track and analyze quality defect reporting to identify themes and solutions
• Manage product samples including TOPs and final reference samples
• Define and communicate factory performance metrics
• Create protocols and SOPs for best practices and standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance in textiles, apparel, accessories, or footwear
• Thorough understanding of different materials and associated risks
• Technical knowledge of AATCC and ASTM testing standards
• Experience presenting to key stakeholders
• Ability to navigate ambiguous, fast-changing priorities
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with Airtable is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS or Masters degree in Textile Science or Textile Engineering
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Italian
