Senior Tester

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing for newly implemented functionality and system upgrades.
• Define and improve testing strategies, including the adoption of modern tools and test automation.
• Translate specifications from card associations (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) into clear testing approaches.
• Lead the preparation and review of regression, performance, and other critical test scenarios.
• Own the test case repository and govern testing standards and quality criteria.
• Coordinate testing activities for certification processes across all card associations.
• Mentor testers and collaborate with developers, analysts, and global stakeholders to ensure high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in relevant testing roles, with proven experience as a Senior Tester or Test Lead.
• Knowledge of banking or payment card transaction processing.
• Ability to define, review, and govern test case standards and quality rules.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Czech or Slovak.
• English proficiency at a B2–C1 level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation, specifically using Robot Framework and Python.
• Experience with IBM i, system commands, and SQL DB2.
• Hands-on experience with software development and technical documentation.
