Senior Test Tool Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test software for silicon, IP blocks, and hardware platforms
• Develop low-level hardware tests from architecture specifications and documentation
• Build scalable functional, stress, and regression test suites
• Create reusable software libraries and automation frameworks
• Develop automated workflows for silicon bring-up, characterization, and manufacturing validation
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and diagnostics engineers to convert requirements into test solutions
• Analyze test results and hardware telemetry to support root cause analysis
• Investigate and resolve automation failures and contribute to CI environments
• Produce technical documentation for tooling and validation methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience developing software in Python or C++
• Strong Linux software development experience
• Experience creating automated test frameworks for hardware or embedded systems
• Ability to interpret hardware specifications and convert them into validation solutions
• Experience debugging hardware and software interactions
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience validating SoCs or silicon IP
• Familiarity with PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, or UART interfaces
• Experience with FPGA validation, silicon bring-up, or hardware emulation
• Experience with CI/CD systems supporting hardware validation
• Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and telemetry collection
• Experience with AI accelerator or high-performance computing hardware
