Senior Test Site Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate test planning with design, test ops, GSE, and technician teams to support a 24/7 test cadence
• Manage weekly and monthly schedules, including forecasting staffing and headcount needs
• Lead daily meetings to align engineering, operations, and safety teams
• Develop key performance measures to optimize site operations, resourcing, and schedules
• Identify operational challenges, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
• Identify potential risks in the test process and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in rocket systems test operations, flight test, oil and gas production, or similar
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
• Direct experience with liquid natural gas or liquid methane as a rocket propellant
• Technical expertise in sub-component to full flight system testing
• Software development for data acquisition and control systems
• Experience managing technical programs for cost, schedule, and performance
