About the role
Responsibilities
- Verify and qualify designs to ensure product reliability
- Manage projects and follow up on test failures including reporting and analysis
- Implement the Company Quality Plan at the Suzhou Lab
- Create DQTP for new projects and ECNs
- Develop new test fixtures and protocols based on requirements
- Provide technical support to supplier laboratories
- Review customer return data to develop new test items and investigate complaints
- Provide technical training for test technicians and operators
- Lead energy consumption test protocol development
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience in household appliance testing
- Training in ISO9001
- Experience generating test protocols and evaluating equipment/fixtures
- Working knowledge of UL1017, UL499, and IEC60335-1 safety standards
- Proficiency in written and verbal English
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing and development processes
- Advanced computer skills
