Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of measuring equipment used in the production process
• Analyze and repair failures in measuring equipment, including managing equipment blocking/unblocking
• Perform capability tests on measuring equipment and document all results
• Prepare, verify, and maintain test instructions, product test programs, and equipment programs
• Plan and implement continuous improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and yield
• Develop and improve measurement processes for new products (NPI processes)
• Prepare test equipment specifications and support suppliers during machine design and integration
• Perform internal calibrations according to the established calibration plan
• Participate in FMEA teams and assist in the preparation of control plans
• Support customer complaint handling and lead 8D teams when necessary
• Provide professional technical guidance to tester technicians

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a relevant engineering field
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
• Proficiency in English and/or German (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical mindset
• Experience with quality management tools such as FMEA, 8D, and 5 Why
• Ability to communicate confidently with internal stakeholders, parent company representatives, and external suppliers
