Senior Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, sustain, and scale sophisticated automation frameworks and tools to enhance product and platform testing
• Augment automation coverage for both functional and non-functional quality attributes
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality within development processes
• Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for automation testing
• Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies aligned with project goals
• Evaluate and assess new tools and technologies to improve test automation effectiveness
• Formulate and monitor KPIs such as automation coverage, defect density, and test execution efficiency
• Deliver exhaustive evidence and documentation for audit compliance

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance engineering
• 3 years of UFT programming experience, including hands-on VB Script coding
• 3 years of strong SQL experience (Oracle, MySQL)
• 3 years of Java/Selenium programming experience
• Hands-on experience with keyword/data-driven automation frameworks
• Experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks
• Experience testing Web Services using SoapUI or equivalent tools
• Proficiency with JIRA and Jenkins
• Experience testing single page applications and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of Agile SDLC
• Proficiency with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Master’s degree in a related technical field with 3+ years of QA experience
• Demonstrated experience with REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML
