Senior Test Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing for Front End Authorization systems
• Create complex test designs and perform analysis on project requirements
• Coordinate with technical and business resources to identify and resolve system defects
• Analyze requirements to design testing strategies, including objectives, methods, and resource allocation
• Identify and recommend design processes for increased efficiency, such as automation and performance testing
• Develop intricate test plans, conditions, and cases in collaboration with stakeholders and developers
• Document test and defect reports and follow all issues through to resolution
• Maintain application standards including payment card industry and security compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of testing experience specifically within the Cards & Payment industry
• Strong understanding of Card and Payment processes such as Authorization and Clearing
• Experience with Card payment networks including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover
• Working knowledge of ISO 8583 and EMV standards
• Experience in test case writing for Point of Sale (POS) systems validating authorization flows

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience testing complex enterprise-level OLTP applications
• Experience with various POS and Issuer message formats
• Knowledge of E-commerce, MOTO, and Card Present/Card Not Present transactions
• Proficiency with SQL for extracting and modifying data in Oracle databases
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium and scripting languages such as Java or Shellscript
• Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines and configuration
• Ability to navigate and modify Unix/Linux shell scripts
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, Rally, or qtest
• ISTQB Certification
