Senior Test Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing to ensure applications meet organizational standards and end-user requirements
• Create complex test designs and perform analysis on project requirements to identify system defects
• Develop intricate test plans, conditions, and cases in collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and business resources
• Identify and recommend design improvements for increased efficiency, including automation, load, and performance testing
• Compile and document test and defect reports, following all issues through to resolution and closure
• Maintain application standards including payment card industry and security-related compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of testing experience specifically within the Cards & Payment industry
• Strong understanding of Card and Payment processes such as Authorization and Clearing
• Experience with Card payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, etc.)
• Working knowledge of ISO 8583 and EMV standards
• Experience with test case writing for Point of Sale (POS) systems to validate authorization flows

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience testing complex enterprise-level OLTP applications
• Proficiency with SQL for extracting and modifying data in Oracle databases
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and scripting languages like Java or Shellscript
• Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines and Unix/Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Rally, or qtest
• ISTQB Certification
