Senior Test Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing to ensure accuracy and consistency after data migrations
• Create complex test designs and perform analysis on project requirements to ensure software is defect-free
• Analyze requirements to design comprehensive testing strategies, including objectives, methods, and resource allocation
• Identify and recommend design improvements for increased efficiency, performance, and reliability through automation and load testing
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and business resources to develop intricate test plans, conditions, and cases
• Document and track defects through to resolution and closure, providing regular progress reports to appropriate parties
• Maintain application standards and ensure compliance with payment card industry and security regulations
• Act as a single point of contact for assigned client projects regarding all test activities and coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant software testing experience
• Strong knowledge of relational databases
• Experience or knowledge within the Bankcard industry
• Proficiency with IBM Rational tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification
• Experience with IBM Mainframe Systems (TSO, JHS, CICS)
• Proficiency with various software tools such as HP Quality Center, Selenium, SoapUI, or Jmeter
