Senior Test Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs, requirements, and user stories to execute various testing activities
• Collaborate with developers and Business Analysts to understand new features, bug fixes, and codebase changes
• Create and execute functional and automated test cases across different test environments
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, preferably using the Python stack
• Log defects in tracking tools and partner with Project Managers and developers to prioritize resolutions
• Perform deep database testing using relational and non-relational databases
• Document test cases, results, and issues encountered during the testing lifecycle
• Participate in team meetings and stand-ups to discuss progress, risks, and project delivery impacts

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing experience
• Experience in web and backend automation using tools such as Playwright, pytest, Selenium, request, Rest Assured, numpy, or pandas
• Proficiency in writing and understanding complex database queries (Oracle, Snowflake)
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
