About the role
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including key opinion leaders and academic centers of excellence.
- Formulate and implement territory growth strategies while accounting for competitive pressures and local market conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, marketing, and sales operations to identify trends and support business goals.
- Conduct market research and assess customer feedback to communicate product needs to R&D and Marketing teams.
- Complete business analytics, regional reporting, and quarterly business reviews to track achievement of sales goals.
- Maintain high performance practices and stay informed regarding competitive products and marketing practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, or life sciences.
- OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years of relevant experience.
- OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device sales, specifically focused on interventional stroke procedures.
- Demonstrated experience functioning within an operating room, cath lab, or hospital-based clinical setting.
- Clinical experience in the interventional suite or emergency medical response.
- Evidence of top sales achievement and experience in multi-level account management.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
