Senior Telecommunications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and documentation of projects involving Structured cabling systems, Outside Plant, IT & OT Networks, and ICN platforms
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including MEP, Controls, and Security specialists, to develop holistic ICT strategies
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical excellence of the team
• Research and implement the latest innovations in the Telecommunications discipline
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and reports
• Manage construction phase services and support commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and project delivery standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience delivering mission-critical projects within an engineering consultancy or telecommunications/network vendor environment
• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
• Expertise in Structured Cabling, Outside Plant, and IT & OT Networks
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrated capability in providing technical expertise in telecommunications systems architecture
• Strong collaborative skills and experience working alongside MEP and Security designers
