About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and documentation of projects involving Structured cabling systems, Outside Plant, IT & OT Networks, and ICN platforms
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including MEP, Controls, and Security specialists, to develop holistic ICT strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical excellence of the team
- Research and implement the latest innovations in the Telecommunications discipline
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and reports
- Manage construction phase services and support commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and project delivery standards
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience delivering mission-critical projects within an engineering consultancy or telecommunications/network vendor environment
- Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in Structured Cabling, Outside Plant, and IT & OT Networks
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated capability in providing technical expertise in telecommunications systems architecture
- Strong collaborative skills and experience working alongside MEP and Security designers
