About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop new process platforms and resolve project-related issues
  • Manage multiple programs and projects concurrently
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and company employees to meet business requirements
  • Ensure mastery of installation requirements according to Telco Standard TP76300 (AT&T)
  • Apply engineering skills across DC power, data centers, fiber systems, and supervisory systems
  • Integrate telecom and data equipment using diagnostic software and testing tools
  • Conduct onsite surveys at customer locations
  • Interpret network diagrams and survey data to determine equipment placement and power needs
  • Create detailed engineering plans for transport and access networks
  • Research manufacturer documentation for equipment ordering and installation guidance
  • Maintain company policies, safety procedures, and administrative requirements
  • Update company and customer installation documents

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Telecom DC Power, Infrastructure, and Central Office Detail Engineering
  • High school diploma and four years of technical school or equivalent training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 360 and diagnostic programs
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel domestically (10%-25%)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and crawl in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AT&T systems (EJF, VIPS, AOTs, and Inventory Systems)
  • Valid passport
