Senior Telecom Specialist - Communication Networks

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of global go-to-market strategies and product marketing positioning.
• Evaluate market opportunities and define appropriate strategic activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
• Create demand through technical promotion and value-based selling approaches.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and solution expertise to the sales team.
• Execute technical tender evaluations and deliver comprehensive bid documents.
• Lead technical Proof of Concept (PoC) activities and interact directly with customers.
• Deliver technical presentations and basic training to end customers to facilitate sales.
• Travel internationally as required for technical PoCs and customer meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunication or IT Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wired telecommunication networks.
• Deep technical knowledge of fiber optical technologies, including MPLS and Ethernet.
• Experience in network design for modern telecommunication networks (SDH, Ethernet MPLS).
• Proven experience in technical tender support or bidding processes.
• Experience working with mission-critical telecommunication solutions for utilities (power, rail, oil & gas).
• Experience in substation environments and protection applications.
• Proficiency in French or German.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
