Senior Technology Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support and triage for Data Center infrastructure, including compute, network, storage, and security systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and break/fix repairs on servers, network switches, routers, and telecommunications equipment.
• Install and document data center infrastructure such as cabinets, racks, patch panels, and copper/fiber cabling.
• Manage incident records, coordinate with vendors for repairs, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor alerts and notifications to ensure continuous 24x7x365 operations in a mission-critical facility.
• Conduct shift handovers, manage asset documentation, and assist in disaster recovery processes.
• Mentor and coach junior staff members and serve as an escalation point for technical issues.

Requirements

• 4 years of IT support or operations experience working with PC or client/server platforms and hardware.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Knowledge of structured cabling and data center infrastructure.
• Ability to work night shifts (6 pm to 6 am) with rotating days monthly.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working specifically in a Data Center environment.
• 3 years of experience leading technical teams or managing third-party IT vendors.
• Experience writing technical documentation or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• 3 years of IT experience within the retail industry.
