Senior Technology Consultant - Unified Communications

Responsibilities

• Support, design, and deploy robust, secure, and scalable multi-vendor Unified Communications solutions.
• Integrate disparate systems into a single, intuitive user experience to enhance client productivity.
• Act as a strategic advisor to guide product, delivery, and support stakeholders through complex technology decisions.
• Provide feedback to strategy and product teams to help identify market gaps and validate new technologies like AI-driven UC.
• Lead the implementation and advanced support of complex communication ecosystems for clients.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UC Solutions, Networking, and IT.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Jabber, and Microsoft Teams.
• Deep understanding of Session Border Controller (SBC) core functions, including network security and interoperability.
• Proficiency in VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and foundational network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, switching, compute, storage).
• Experience with cloud-based UC solutions and open-source telephony platforms like FreePBX.
• Familiarity with virtualization, hypervisors, and virtual machines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to bridge the gap between engineering and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CCDS (Collaboration, Enterprise, or Security tracks).
• Cisco Webex Calling Administration Professional certification.
• Fluency in French (verbal and written).
• Strong understanding of cloud management platforms and automation tools.
