Senior Technology Buyer

Responsibilities

• Select suppliers through RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes using the company's sourcing platform to maximize benefits and ensure policy compliance.
• Support the full Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) for assigned technology categories.
• Analyze vendor spend to identify opportunities for cost reduction, simplification, and optimization.
• Manage the vendor onboarding process and process purchase orders with all required supporting documentation.
• Act as a technical consultant for internal clients to ensure technical scopes are complete and proposals offer maximum profitability and value.
• Conduct periodic meetings with users to follow up on requirements and provide support for audits and reporting.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Networks, Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology procurement (4-5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Strategic Sourcing methodology (7-step process).
• Deep technical knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Hardware (servers, storage, endpoints), and virtualization.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP, PowerBI, and Ariba Sourcing.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Proven experience in negotiating medium-to-high complexity technology services and critical company services.
