Senior Technologist, Firmware Verification Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware design verification plans and overall validation strategies for UFS/eMMC embedded NAND systems
• Define validation infrastructure and methodologies using modern object-oriented languages
• Work closely with system architects and firmware teams to develop test plans and debug complex issues
• Design functional tests to meet customer needs and influence future product design for improved debuggability
• Interface with key stakeholders and customers to understand field bugs and enhance validation coverage
• Methodically root cause complex failure mechanisms in firmware

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in system-level validation or embedded systems
• 5+ years of focused experience with UFS, eMMC, PCIe, or NVMe interfaces
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++
• In-depth understanding of firmware algorithms used in NAND Flash based storage devices
• Knowledge of host protocols including SCSI, SATA, and PCIe
• BE/B-Tech/M-Tech in Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or IS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mobile, Compute, or Industrial Operating Systems and Filesystems
• Knowledge of digital and analog design
• Experience leading initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams
