Senior Technologist, Firmware Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware that directly controls and accesses NAND flash memory
• Develop drivers for high-speed flash interfaces and design algorithms for raw data access, error correction, and wear leveling
• Lead the design and implementation of intelligent firmware for low-power states, DVFS, and thermal throttling
• Optimize power consumption and manage the thermal profile of the controller under various workloads
• Debug complex system-level issues related to NAND access, power, thermal, and memory subsystems
• Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, and verification teams to define requirements and debug issues

Requirements

• 17+ years of hands-on experience in firmware or embedded systems development
• Mastery of C/C++ and experience developing low-level drivers for silicon and on-chip peripherals
• Strong experience with NAND flash memory, physical interfaces, ECC, and flash management principles
• Deep knowledge of embedded systems architecture, RTOS, and silicon bring-up
• Extensive experience in power management (DVFS) and high-speed memory interfaces like LPDDR
• Exceptional debugging skills using JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
