Senior Technician Shipwide

Responsibilities

• Lead the General Technical team providing training, performance coaching, and feedback
• Supervise the set, strike, and execution of entertainment shows
• Manage stock control of show consumables and monitor all maintenance
• Ensure staging, lighting, and audio are set for all shipwide functions and events
• Partner with Entertainment Leadership Teams for new show installs and equipment tests
• Schedule the Shipwide Team and lead department meetings
• Provide technical support for Groups, Marketing, and Crew activities

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in a technical role within a theatrical operation
• Proven experience leading a theater technical team
• Knowledge of Yamaha digital audio consoles and grandMA lighting consoles
• Experience with wireless mic, in-ear monitoring, and AV/projection systems
• Ability to work at heights and in environments with pyrotechnics, haze, or fog
• Willingness to live and work onboard a vessel in a multicultural environment
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a C1/D Seaman's visa
