About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the Reliability Engineering team in bringing new semiconductor products to market through device qualification.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab tools and systems, including test fixtures, sockets, thermal systems, and bench setups.
  • Execute ESD control procedures, clean lab protocols, and safe handling of sensitive semiconductor devices.
  • Document lab procedures, test results, equipment usage, and maintenance logs following quality and traceability standards.
  • Manage lab inventory, organize tools and fixtures, and schedule equipment usage to ensure efficient operations.
  • Mentor junior technicians and engineers while communicating effectively with management.
  • Multi-task and manage several device qualifications simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on semiconductor laboratory or semiconductor experience.
  • Proven experience loading, unloading, and reworking semiconductor devices on circuit boards using ESD-safe practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and automated test systems.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs safely.
  • US Person status (required due to ITAR lab requirements).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting engineering test setups and debugging hardware issues.
  • Experience with board bring-up and device validation.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, chemical handling, and equipment safety standards.
