About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute IC validation and characterization testing on bench and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms for PMIC and Analog devices
- Set up, maintain, and debug bench test systems, PCBs, and supporting lab hardware
- Perform electrical measurements, process and analyze data, and document results
- Partner with IC Design, Systems, Product, Bench, and Test Engineers to debug silicon and hardware issues
- Support hardware and software debug, including basic test scripts and measurement automation
- Calibrate and maintain bench test equipment to ensure measurement integrity
- Support NPI and qualification activities, including correlation between bench and ATE environments
- Assist with high-volume manufacturing support, including yield excursions and RMA analysis
- Contribute to lab efficiency, safety, and best practices
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit analysis
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers
- Working knowledge of PMIC and analog measurements (load/line regulation, PSRR, efficiency, etc.)
- Familiarity with PCB bring-up, rework, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of engineering statistics and data interpretation
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE), wafer probers, and device handlers
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or silicon qualification
- Experience with measurement automation or instrument control software (Python, C#)
- Understanding of high-volume semiconductor manufacturing
- Strong soldering and fine-pitch rework skills
- Prior experience supporting PMIC, mixed-signal, or analog ASICs
