Senior Technician, PMIC Product & Test Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Execute IC validation and characterization testing on bench and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms for PMIC and Analog devices
• Set up, maintain, and debug bench test systems, PCBs, and supporting lab hardware
• Perform electrical measurements, process and analyze data, and document results
• Partner with IC Design, Systems, Product, Bench, and Test Engineers to debug silicon and hardware issues
• Support hardware and software debug, including basic test scripts and measurement automation
• Calibrate and maintain bench test equipment to ensure measurement integrity
• Support NPI and qualification activities, including correlation between bench and ATE environments
• Assist with high-volume manufacturing support, including yield excursions and RMA analysis
• Contribute to lab efficiency, safety, and best practices

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit analysis
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers
• Working knowledge of PMIC and analog measurements (load/line regulation, PSRR, efficiency, etc.)
• Familiarity with PCB bring-up, rework, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of engineering statistics and data interpretation
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE), wafer probers, and device handlers
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or silicon qualification
• Experience with measurement automation or instrument control software (Python, C#)
• Understanding of high-volume semiconductor manufacturing
• Strong soldering and fine-pitch rework skills
• Prior experience supporting PMIC, mixed-signal, or analog ASICs
