Senior Technician Broadcast

Responsibilities

• Lead the Broadcast team providing training, performance coaching, and feedback
• Manage daily Broadcast department operations including TV output, filming, editing, and Emergency Paging System upkeep
• Ensure meticulous operation of shipwide control systems, 35mm movie projection, and LED screens
• Maintain high quality shipboard broadcast products using video cameras and switchers
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and routine repair of all Broadcast and projection equipment
• Program and maintain automated scheduling and video server playback systems
• Partner with Entertainment Leadership Teams for equipment tests, vendor support, and corporate events
• Schedule the Broadcast team and lead department meetings

Requirements

• Minimum five years experience in a relevant shipboard or shore side position
• Expertise with professional broadcast equipment including video cameras, VTR, and editing systems
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer networking systems
• Proven experience operating and maintaining computer-based broadcast or control systems
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a C1/D Seaman's visa
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Video camera operation and lighting for TV
• Understanding of Apple Broadcast software
