Senior Technician - Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily functioning of AV systems including sound, lighting, projection, and control networks
• Monitor and troubleshoot AV control systems such as QLab, Crestron, and Navigator CSC
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LED walls, speakers, projectors, and control gear
• Supervise AV technicians and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution
• Support technical design reviews and installations for new entertainment projects
• Collaborate with creative teams to execute mock-ups for new show concepts
• Enforce safety procedures for rigging, flying systems, and aerial show equipment
• Ensure all AV setups meet electrical safety standards and operational protocols

Requirements

• Degree in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in AV technical services, preferably in luxury resorts or entertainment venues
• Expert knowledge of AV networking and control systems (e.g., QLab, Crestron, GRMS)
• Proficiency in lighting, laser, holography, and control programming tools (ETC, C++, PLC)
• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications in AV control systems, rigging safety, or projection technology
