About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of all software documentation based on technical writing standards
- Prepare Software Design Specification documentation, User Manuals, Training Manuals, and Online Help
- Create multi-media content to communicate functionality, policies, and procedures to end users
- Contribute to marketing documentation, brochures, website content, and pre-sales proposals
- Execute offshore documentation assignments while liaising with overseas product development teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in technical writing for web-based applications
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English for speaking and documentation
- Strong understanding of Technical Writing fundamentals and the Document Development Lifecycle (DDLC)
- Experience developing User Manuals, Online Help, and Training Manuals for software products
- Proficiency with MS Word and other documentation or graphic tools
- Familiarity with at least one well-known style guide
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and work under pressure to meet deadlines
