Senior Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of all software documentation based on technical writing standards
• Prepare Software Design Specifications, User Manuals, Training Manuals, and Online Help
• Create multi-media content to communicate functionality, policies, and procedures to end users
• Contribute to marketing documentation, including brochures, website content, and pre-sales proposals
• Independently execute offshore documentation assignments by liaising with overseas product development teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, or an equivalent technical field
• Minimum 4 years of technical writing experience specifically for web-based applications
• Full proficiency in both Arabic and English for speaking and professional documentation
• Strong understanding of Technical Writing fundamentals and the Document Development Lifecycle (DDLC)
• Proven experience developing user manuals, online help, and training materials
• Proficiency with technical writing tools, MS Word, and various graphic documentation tools
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and adapt content for different target audiences
• Familiarity with at least one well-known style guide

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
