Senior Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the documentation strategy for multiple products and features
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including developer guides, API documentation, and user-facing content
• Define, implement, and maintain documentation standards, templates, style guides, and best practices
• Review, edit, and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, and technical correctness
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and leadership teams to align documentation with business objectives
• Mentor and coach Technical Writers by providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with UX teams to improve product usability through effective UI text
• Work with Support and Customer Success teams to identify documentation gaps and increase ticket deflection
• Conduct content audits, usability testing, and documentation analytics reviews
• Drive process improvements and automation across the documentation lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing
• Demonstrated leadership in documentation strategy and content development
• Expertise in structured authoring, API documentation, UX writing, and CMS
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of software development practices, cloud technologies, and DevOps concepts
• Proven ability to lead documentation initiatives and influence stakeholders
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
