Senior Technical Writer

About the Company

Mytra is creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for the $1T supply chain market.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including installation manuals, SOPs, maintenance guides, and training materials
• Incorporate technical illustrations, diagrams, and photographs into documentation
• Manage conversations across functional groups to ensure information is captured and discoverable
• Review and edit technical content for accuracy, consistency, and readability
• Facilitate development of Work Instructions for manufacturing and Repair/Maintenance Instructions for field service
• Maintain documentation throughout product lifecycles
• Understand safety implications of process documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical writing experience with multidisciplinary hardware or robotics teams
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including CAD drawings and electrical schematics
• Ability to maintain organized WI, SOP, and DOP while managing multiple projects
• Familiarity with CMS tools like Confluence or Notion
• Familiarity with illustration tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Photoshop
• Familiarity with Document Control Systems (PLM & QMS) such as Arena

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML for documentation-as-code (MKDocs, Sphinx)
• Familiarity with project management tools like Linear or Jira
• Familiarity with version control workflows like Git or GitHub
